Balinese love their babi-guling (roast pig!)

sow and piglets  in compound
We "paid" a fee to enter this village. (that is why it is so Perfect and clean)  this enabled us to visit a family compound, kitchen, garden, animals and meet the family)
This village has given up it's privacy to gain income from tourists and have a higher standard of living.  Penclipuran is in the middle of nowhere, north of Bangli, climbing the mountain toward Mount Batur, where Besakih the  most sacred Mother temple lies.

We just happened upon this Barong procession, stopped the car and witnessed the prayers, music and theatricality of it all.
The joy of witnessing is there for all as is joining in.
