Selamat Pagi -hello from Phyllis

dear family and friends,

the unmechanical right brained phyllis has finally figured out how to set up a blog in English (it was only allowing me to do this in Indonesian not serving any of us)

All of this has been done in  very hot and humid and Languid weather........ where the brain functions.....well..... a little (?) Slowly.

it has been seamless to slip into the world of Bali.  Gentle and welcoming the transition has been just that.

the people of Bali live their spirituality and their creative lives wholly integrated.  It is intrinsic as it is imperative.

They are open and assertive.

i am living In Ubud, the cultural mecca of the world!  I hear and see music and dance every evening.  The streets are lined with art and textiles and masks and Temples!  Each morning the day breaks with offerings of flowers and incense . For me it is a reminder to cherish each day as it unfolds.

I write this with a gentle breeze blowing, in the midst of rice paddies and the incessant bird that wakes me each morning pleading, "Forget Me Forget Me"
